Relaxed Wedding Photography for Couples Who Want to Enjoy Their Day

An engagement shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other and to see how well we work together. I would suggest doing this at the venue as we can walk through the various locations we will use as we talk about the wedding day. It is For many couples, an engagement shoot isn't really about the photographs at all. It's about feeling comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.

If you're worried about having your photograph taken, you're not alone. Most of my couples tell me they're awkward in photos or don't know what to do. An engagement shoot is a relaxed way for us to get to know each other, build confidence and help you feel completely at ease.

Many couples choose to have their shoot at their wedding venue. It's a great opportunity to explore the locations we'll use on the day while talking through your plans in a relaxed setting.

The photographs can also be used for save-the-dates, invitations, signing frames or guest books.

I've photographed engagement shoots more than a year before the wedding and, in one case, just three days beforehand to reassure a nervous groom who disliked having his photograph taken. Happily, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience-and felt much more relaxed on the wedding day.
